What are your experiences and/or opinions on the swivel sweeper things? They are electrical carpet sweepers with a 45 min battery life and have 4 brushbars (on all sides of the machine)
I used to love watching the original swivel sweeper promotion on Thane Direct, but when the G2 came out with 5 new features (magnetic storage latch, back saving elbow joint, touchless dirt tray, super sliders and I'm sure there was another which I forgot about) and I was so impressed that I saved up for one.
It was great at first, used it as an everyday machine and it started falling apart. The magnetic storage latch only was when you empty it or else the dirt falls out, the handle snapped at the plastic elbow joint thing and got it replaced, then it snapped again! The brushbar must be kept clean or else there's nothing to pick up dirt, not even 1 AW of suction!
I would buy one again but not at that ridiculous £50 I paid!
£30 seems reasonable, I would buy one again if it was cheap as it was pretty good when it worked and was nice & handy, the new "Max" model is out which is improved!
