Never had one before then I saw bekos Union Jack one and thought it was cool.

Anyway this evening I had a phone call from the man that runs a dyson graveyard near me and he picked this one up in good working order from a clearance and asked if I wanted it FOC. So I snapped it up.

Only trouble is I have no idea what model it is age or serial number

Any help would be appreciated

Oooh very nice. I know they can be dated using the service books, and I think I know someone with the books. It looks early though, the bag certainly.

The ratings plate should be under the belt guard at the front on a rivited plate. Post the serial up and Ill message the guy I know.

Never tried. Why pay when someone messaged me recently boasting that he had them (lucky buggar) and that he would scan them in for me! Could do with a look tbh as I want to date my union jack one. I'm sure I had a copy, but cant seem to find it.

ETA, I do have a Junior service book scan, but not sure it's complete, cant find any date details. I know it can be done though, I;ve seen it!

Gives a timeline, looks like yours came in in 1962 and was updated in 1965.

I should probably get on with some work now!
