Thank you, is there a technique to putting the whole switch cover back on the ie: do i clip the bottom in first please or do i put the screws in lose before trying to clip the top in. It's a bit confusing!!!

IIRC (It's been a while), you need to sit the two switch covers over the switch first, then present the switch cover and slip it all together whislt holding the buttons, they do sort of sit themselves on ok, but fall off very easily
