My late model cyclone's button is wearing out! I picked it up to go on from hard floor to the rug and it un clipped. I am so not paying full price for a new Dyson. Outrageous! Do DC33 buttons break or wear out?

Has anyone experienced the bin seal coming loose while twisting the vacuum on floors? Can it be fixed ?

That seal looks like it has previously been pressed out of shape, trapped when the seal has sat incorrectly when the bin has been re-fitted, seen it quite a few times.
You could replace the seal for a new one and I think it would be fine, however I would just keep using it as is.

The seal doesn't seem to be replaceble. :o

Where could I get it?
I found second hand part but can imagine how difficult would be changing it.
