Evening all, let me start by saying fantastic resource, great to see some much in depth help at my finger tips.
Like many I have a non spinning Brushbar.
Just trying to run through the best check list to solve my problem
First thing I've checked is I've got AC power from the clip that the Brushbar connects too, which I have 235 volts when reclined & switched on.
I tested the resistance of the motor & got no reading so assume it's dead.
Replaced the motor & checked I have resistance on that, which I do.
Still no joy.
Now tested DC power while running the vac in reclined as I did to check AC power to head.
I don't get a reading so do I assume the PCB is dead too...
The only reason I'm asking is before I replaced the motor I did have DC power to the motor, so that's what lead me to the motor being dead.
I have had the switches out to test resistance to those & all seemed OK, hence AC power to the head connector.
seem to be chasing & didn't want to buy more spares till I was sure.
To recap if I have AC power to the head connector then all my switches & loom are good ?
No longer DC VoLTE when Motor is connected, motor is new so PCB is the fault now.
Many thanks in advance, sorry for the long winded questions
