Heard it putting them through the washing machine is good any one reccomend this and how to do it eg chemicals stretched out or as it etc ?

I put them on a 30 or 40 degree wash with about a teaspoon of washing powder and extra rinse. they come up great. Hang them up to dry and give them a shake while stretched.

I wash the hoses, internal hoses and filters in a 30 or 40 degrees wash mostly, hey come up really well! The hoses look new and I had a black pad filter from a DC14, after the 30 degree wash it only looked like it was from a 1 week old Dyson :)

foam filters come up great so do the cages, they can be done on a 60 degree if manky. Later dc27 HEPA filters come up good as well on a 30 or 40 degree wash. All filters need an extra rinse and only use a tiny bit of powder or you will end up with a foam party

I will give it a go I've got a fair few DC14 hoses and the CLIC hose aswell

Don't over load it or they wont wash as well.

Any towels to quieten them smashing about or are they ok ?

Depends on the size of your drum, 5 or 6 is normally OK in a 6kg, I never put towels in, just hose's and/or filters

We have a 9 KG and I put in a cleaning rag in fear of the door glass breaking :|

I've washed loads of Unorthodox things in loads of machines and never damaged them or the machine, it just sounds terrible at times.

I think Beko has some pictures in a post some where.
