Just a quick one guys, what is wrong with this dc24 tool? it's to big for the wand at the bottom, to big for the wand at the top, a loose fit on the tool holder but fits the hose perfectly.
Help!

Its not a DC24 tool probably. It has no crescent fitting. DC24 tools have four ridges inside so they fit on the slim end of the wand as well. They are not supposed to fit on the handle end; your hose is.

I did wonder about the missing cressent and the light silver colour.
Will this fit or can you supply one?

If it has the four ridges inside; not all do.
But to be fair, the one you have fits the hose, which is how most people use it. If it is a machine for selling, why not just use the one you have?

I got a tool that fits for £5.50 all in, from your favourite ebay member, kayysmithh
Happy to sell it now.
Picked up another dc24 today off gumtree for £20, all it needed was the reset button pushing in, and it had it's tool
silly bugger had cut the cable off though
