DC01 Blue Stripdown and Refurb
« on: January 27, 2016, 05:37:07 pm »
Well i bought a DC01 Blue off eBay ages ago. my papas friend in Birmingham collected it for me. Now i had to just wait for papa to get a load there so he could get it and bring it back up here. So its been about

Its a bit Faded but i have seen worse, it does run but poorly and has no suction what so ever, even if it did i would still strip it down anyway.

Well its been touched by a Dyson Engineer at some point

Ok cyclone stickers.

That's bad considering what your about to see in a minute

Sadly not really a fan of the blue Dc01/04 :(

I prefer the turquoise of the DC07 and the Satin blue of the DC41/25/26/49

Nice! Beko is also collecting DC01's
I want mine to be Ametek but it's a pain in the butt to convert it to have an Ametek motor (need a new Ametek motor, motor rubbers, housing, bottom housing & the spinal cord) as the connections are also different.

My YDK DC01 is pretty high pitched! I washed the fan but to no joy. Literally hate it now, miss the ametek motor

Beautiful! I need to find one of these,  and the Arctic solo one to complete the dc01 lineup!

Didn't mean to start collecting 01s, it just sort of happened!

That box of spares looks interesting,  what's in it? Any 500 stuff?

That white upholstery tool is hoover,  eBay that if you don't want it,  it's in good nick!

The bags look like 345 bags,  probably not much value in the bags,  but the machine,  I've seen them go for a surprising amount

Put anything you don't want in the package you are sending to us. Especially gen unopened DC01 filters. I'll make sure you get something worthwhile back.
