Handheld extension wands

Dose anyone know if the later extension poles will fit a dc16 animal ?  would be great to be able to use powe brush without bending. God I'm getting old  :boggleeye:

DC26 and 39 wands do,  so I imagine most stuff within that period would be ok.

Power brush? Didnt think the 16 had power,  unless your using a mains powered turbo brush,  in which case ace!

No the dc16 animal has a power brush but I think the fittings are different to all the other hand held.  Just wanted confirmation.

Aaah I didnt know that! Surely the modern powerbrushes will be the same voltage as the old ones,  so any cheap pole and brush,  possibly some gaffa tape or an adapter,  bit of crimping here and there on some wires and voila!

Bet that will reduce the run time somewhat...

I've got the little power head and a 2000amh battery.  :thumbsup:  will have to have a play.

Gaffa tape it under the handheld battery. Or,  a car battery and attractive manbag.  Voila,  143 days runtime!
