Vintage Vacuum Cleaner Advertisements
« on: February 03, 2016, 10:16:02 pm »
For our new shop, I decided we needed some vintage vacuum cleaner ads in frames about the place. So I did some trawling on the internet to find stuff big enough that they would print well on A4. Not that much is out there, but I did find some, so I thought I would share them.

You are welcome to add your own.

I've got one of those Hooverettes. Really REALLY want a Hoover Portable too!

Got this one's UK brother, the 262

Got the refurb thread to write up on that when I get a spare few hours.

Room for some Dyson ones?

There's some nice poster looking shots of the DA001 here -

Front cover of this but it's a crap scan, could get you a better one

A nice one of the Aquavac 3000 here

Nigel Mansell with a dirt devil handy:

Some lovely Turbopower shots in here

etc. I'll stop now, got loads more if you have room...

God I would have hated to see the disappointment on someone's face when they sunk £300 into a DC03 then got home and tried it out...

Damn, true!!!

That DC05 Absolute is better and cheaper ;D and £30 extra for a Dc04 over a DC01!

There's always various prints and adverts for sale on etsy if your in the mood to spend some money. Or how about some vintage Russian vacuum cleaners and crazy vacuum cleaner covers to fill your shop!

Kind off topic but if you use the 'wayback' machine you can search archives of a website! I think the 2004 Dyson website is the best design, or 2005
