The Dyson DC17? These are designed specially for the North American market because Americans have deep pile really thick carpets unlike the UK which is mainly thin pile carpets

Same goes with the Dyson DC28 (not to be confused with the DC28C) as it's an upright with airmuscle technology. The brushbar sticks out the soleplate and goes in and out of the housing at the touch of a button. Has 4 settings (Hard floor, low, medium and deep pile)

Hmmm I'll be on the look out for one of those, I like things that aren't suppose to be in England... Hence why I bought a Sebo G1 lol.

Really :o oh I thought they were simple

I'm sure they are great machines when working! some Americans say they are a bit too aggressive on carpets

Haha, really ought to make an eBay account at some point... :/ plus sourcing a hose and brushroll for an American machine in the uk would be easier said than done!
