Dont forget rt to have the bell wire connected though on the internal phone wiring!

:censored: virgin will work on some phones one minute and not the next as i say rubbish service.  Its strange all my extension had worked perfectly for 18 years but when I switched to virmin we instantly had no service and the fault was determined as internal wiring.  Cant wait to get back to sky.

Don't know about those phones. I'd have to ask around. Many of the first push button phones had a little switch marked LD/Tone to select which you needed. I tried both settings and on the LD you could hear the clack clack clack as it dialed out and on the tone setting you heard the tone. Both settings worked  for making and receiving calls.

I have some early push button that are pulse only like MVs, from the fitting instructions it looks like they only work with a dial but would be interested to find out for sure.
