I was thinking of a DC11 as my next keeper; we see so few of them now.

I have a DC11 in the shed that needs small tools and a floorhead, so I've just ignored it.  I could refurb it and swap it for some DC04/07 filters, toolkits etc, nothing much, £20 quids worth say

Saying that it could be knackered, was used as a DIY vac before I had it and it's been in the shed for the past 3 years...

Unless you mean NIB in which case one will turn up!

I'll have a poke about and see if any new floorheads are about.

I think amys sister has the floor head still, but hasn't found it after a year.

It's the small tools that do it, their fugging expensive and have to be the specific dc11 tools! I washed the hose and bought it a new post filter ready to go in though!

Don't DC08TW tools fit? I believe they both use the bent crevice tool like a DC14 but with a different fitting for their "telescope"  wand which they botjh have :)
Just a thought

Normal DC08's (well my Dc08 Origin had this) have the normal Dc07 tools but with a widened slot thing for it to fit in the large diameter Dc08 wand

They will fit the machine, but won't fit in the tool holders at the back I don't think

Not thought of that though, will have a look

Only ever had 1 dc11, nice machine, but heavy and looks like an astronaughts air pack  :))  dc08 TW tools do fit dc11 I think.
