Lol nope, it's nowhere near mint enough for me to spend £30 on it. Saving up to pay for the holiday we booked now, no frivolous spending for me for the forseeable, infact the idea is to get machines sold and out the door!

I wouldn't really spend more than £10 on any DC01 except a nice De Stijl all original and with tools...

£10 is my max for a 'normal machine'.  A minter/all paperwork /good tools etc maybe £20, depending on the time of the month

I presume you mean payday lol  ;D :icon_nod:

And I agree, £10 is what I paid for my DC14 origin (blown up) even though I kind of sensed the guy at the carboot chatting shite

yep,  payday!

£10 always seems a safe number.  We can all get a good idea of a machine by the look and smell,  if its knackered for a tenner thats easily made back in spares

Very true^
I like how we can check if a vacuum is burnt out by the smell of the inlet tube to the motor

Cant believe I paid £22 for a blown up DC04 in 2013 ffs, atleast it served me well for like 3 months, got a much better one for £8 afterwards!

Nope it was in horrible condition it was that crappy Absolute+lime model which was ugly faded to a dark purple colour and it;s not worth spending a lot of money just to fix a Dc04

I would even be reluctant to buy a £22 blown up Dc07 let alone a Dc04 lol
