Hello ladies and gents! I'm new to the forum here and thought I'd pop on and say hello.
Haven't thread I had an answer to that was not already there but I'll be happy to check in from time to time and see if I can lend a bit of advice.

Are most of this board's participants Dyson owners or professional vacuum repairmen?

I'm sure you will like this forum, everyone does lol. I am a Dyson owner/collector and have a HUGE interest in the company and I like other vacuums too. I also repair and refurbish Dysons and the majority of the other members on this forum are pretty much the same/ similar in the Dyson department.

Thank you everyone for your warm greetings! It's nice to see so many vacuum enthusiasts in one place! Although I am a professional vacuum repairman.. I too, can't help but bother people about their machines when I see them in their garages and closets.

I know it's a bit shabby but these are all my Dyson parts...

and here are our oceans of vacuums, waiting to be picked up or repaired respectively.

My shops in The United States in Corona, California. Across the pond from you guys but the concepts stay the same =)

We have been in our current shop about 7 years, about to move to a much bigger new one @ almost 3000 sq feet (we have a topic on it). I started out in a Hoover shop in the 80's, then grey imported new Dyson DC04's and later DC15's from Holland in the 90's, did some stuff online and went bricks and mortar again in the 00's. Now we manufacture some of our own lines.

We need more guys from the US with shops on board here. We get a lot of questions on US models we have never seen here.

We send a lot of our exclusive lines to shops in the US as well. We have a lot of stuff not available there.

I'm a buyer and seller really, I make YouTube Video's on how to fix things including many brands of Vacuum's.

Also, I do collect rare Machines

I used to buy parts and sell them but the company never took off. sadly...
