It's either me or my mum that does the vacuuming XD
When I was abroad in August, for like a whole month, my dad and grandma were still at home looking after the house

Soo the carpets needed vacuuming, my grandma found the DC41 hard to push and the others heavy aswell, so she asked my dad to vacuum. This only happened once and since my grandma was brooming the carpets lol bless

So I doubt an average guy vacuums O_o or average dad atleast, but my cousin vacuums, his wife doesn't I think, lol but then again I convinced him to get a Dyson all these years and he finally has one (DC50) ;D

Let's face it no many people Vacuum, and if they do it'll be the woman because most men have no or little interest in looking after the floor lol.

I do the vacuuming, and it's every week. ;D
Every time I vacuum up after doing a bit of DIY, I reflect that a bit more house is turning into dust and being thrown away.

We vacuum every day ;D Probably about twice a day, or whenever there's a mess (which happens a few times a day)

Nope, always wash them :)Except the post motor filter in the older model Dysons which need replacing when the motor burns out ;)

I wash the spongy one, but the other one (purple) - is that the post motor filter?  It's supposed to be "lifetime" but it doesn't like anything very fine.  I bang that one out to get rid of dust but eventually have to get another one.

he spongy filter and the case are the pre motor filter

The post motor filter is the other separate one located underneath the bin on the Dc08 :icon_nod:  I believe yours is the HEPA filter, not sure which kind of Dc08 you have but some of the lower grade cheaper Dc08's (base models like the origin etc) have a thinner pad filter

Ah, yes, mine is the HEPA that isn't "lifetime".  I'm glad I don't have three, then!
