Ah, maybe check it's not an easy fix. Look up my refurb thread, it will show you but there's a tiny spring inside one end of the red pedal, and a big chunky spring from one end of the grey wheels part to the side of the ball area.The red pedal doesnt really move, it's the grey pedal, when you push the red pedal down to recline the machine, it enters the right part of the notched bit it has, the grey pedal then springs up taking the red pedal with it. Same when you push it down to stand it up and lock it

looks a bit waste just paying £30 for motor
but I notice there is 2 different part number some are listed and ending with -01 and the other -08 number

The units are the same.
