Lol I agree madrat, I will dread emptying it and the long cable is hard to store, ugh but not  a bad vacuum overall :) I want a DD Hardy

Yes ours used to go in the machine. To empty, take it off and to the bin, hold the ring and push it inside out holding it in the bin and then shake, ( the bag, not you )
