Dc07 clutch less dragging
« on: March 12, 2016, 04:19:55 pm »
My dc07 chewed up the vinyl flooring in my bathroom the other day, the brushes seem to be damaging the floor unless I tilt the dyson further back? The more upright the days on the closer the brushes are to the floor?

Is this normal?

The soleplate is probably worn down. I'd replace the soleplate and brushbar together.

I replaced the brush bar a few months ago

I'll look into the sole plate though

Thanks

Dyson always recommended changing them both together on non-clutched models for the reason you describe.

Agreed always going to be a brushbar and soleplate issue.
