I dont find the suction of a dc03 to bad.  I think the 30 has better suction than the 16, motor defiantly sound different.

Cool  when I had a Dc03 (10 years ago) I remember the suction being quite bad, even without filters and being all good, a DC01 seemed to be more powerful through the hose, oddly Dyson say all DC01/02/03's have 90 AW which I can't believe  :boggleeye:
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Thought it's 700w? lol
Yes, Dc01's have 1200w and a larger fan so have more suction, weird hwo Dyson says it has the same suction as an 01
