You'd have a job these days to buy a washing machine made in the UK. I think Ebac is the only one in prospect, and nothing else has been made here in about a decade. Many Bosch models are now made in Spain, not in Germany, and Turkey is another major centre for white goods production.But Ebac are only ever going to be a very minor player, with a sales target of 150K in an annual market of 15 million machines.That's assuming they ever get the range launched at all, as no date has yet been announced for the start of production, other than 'later this year'
