It's distance usually, I have a strict 10 mile search radius, unless it's something super amazing, once nearly went to Gloucester for a Hoover Turbomaster, but by the time I got permission it had sold.

I've had bargains though, I'm happy with my lot

Sorry about my tyypiing on myy brroken phone
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Nice, where do you get your bargains from!

See how the motor broke, it will be good knowledge for the future!

I was lucky with this one the seller wanted 30 quid free postage. I asked can you do 20 quid free postage and he said no bother. Ebay and Shitetree is my best option. some of them though are a bit over priced I was lucky then

Nice! Check the wiring loom
And these use a crappy dc24 brush motor

Usually I take that route,  but she would notice if I was gone for 5 hours.  Plus I had the XM at the tine,  would have cost over 100 in pez!

I'm on my fourth. First was a 2.1 vsx hatch series 2. Second was a 2.5 vsx estate series 2. Third was a 2.0 Tct Exclusive hatch series 2 with lpg. I've still got my 2.1 SED hatch series 1. She's been off the road a while but will put her back on next spring.

Mine was a 2.0tct estate auto. Couldn't afford the fuel in the end, which was a shame. Should save up and get a 2.1td really
