BARGAIN DC41
« on: April 17, 2016, 11:03:03 pm »
At my local general auction this evening having a good look around I come across this DC41 now the rules of the auction is electricals are sold as scrap and are not allowed to be plugged in.

Anyway it came up and I won it for £18!

Got it home to find everything works on it perfectly and that it had never been Registered

Nice! I miss my 1300W DC41, because of the large cleaner head and sharp DC33 suction at the hose but not a bad vacuum as long as it's looked after :) You keeping it?

£15?! My God  :o My best bargain was a £15 DC40 blown up with a broken stabiliser wheel last year!  :'(

Ps I agree, the DC14 cleans better but the Mk2 is impressive performance wise, think that and the cinetic are Dysons best performers :)

Some reason the DC41 heads are weird, the old style takes a few passed to pick up threads and string from a carpet, wheeas a DC14 picks it all up in 1 pass and grooms better  :boggleeye: maybe it's because the rollerwheel is too high?

Maybe the DC14 is just a better machine.  :whist11:
