Hi, the belt on the right hand side you changed, have you looked at the grooves to make sure they don't have a build up of Kevlar in? Are the grooves on the pulley clean too? If not this can cause vibration and almost makes the belt skip. Sebo UK aren't on Twitter by the way so not sure who you've tweeted
That is odd but true. The US has an account but it seems long abandoned. They might want to look at that to increase brand awareness. Despite this being a (new) imported machine that isnt technically entitled to warranty in the UK, I wonder if Sebo UK might be inclined to fix it if Rusty paid the carriage? The fact it was bought from Germany shouldn't really make a difference. The chap may end up a good brand ambassador if Sebo did the needful on this occasion.
Update!: Apparently it's the bypass valve.

He asked on VL about this issue and someone suggested it, so he is looking into that
Ok so sorry to revive this thread and if the problem has been resolved but I have a dead unit of the sebo in so decided to do an investigation into why the belt in the video pulls to the side.I found that if the rubber motor mount was not put in fully that the belt would pull to the side , so I sprayed the rubber and the plastic face that the mount touches with wd40 to find that the mount fitted with no fuss and the belt no longer pulled to the side .Hope this helps someone either now or in the future.Adam.

Why did you vacuum socks? Lmao
