dc27 re build problem
« on: May 05, 2016, 06:53:40 pm »
hi just found a dc27 last week that some kind person had left out for the scrap man ,
i took it home and plugged it in , the motor was burnt out so i proceeded to strip it down to get the motor out.
i took the brush bar out but needed to unclip the clear head out , this seemed reallt tight in the side clips but managed to get the whole head off without unclipping this.
the next problem was the hose selector cam wheel whatever it is , im now in the rebuild stage , ive got the motor fitted and im struggling with how the cam hose selector thing on the plactic rod if you know what i mean lol , ive not put the head back on yet but this is my weekend job grrrrrrrr , cant wait , id prefer to be working on 07s and 14s , got 2 of these to do aswell.
any help with this dc27 would be great thanks

They are a pain to strip and rebuild, and I cant explain how to do it to be honest, you need to see it.
