Hi Taran,

The cable has been cut and with the voltage difference I'm happy if it never runs I would just like it complete. It can be with used parts as the machine is not pristine.

It requires a pre motor filter, brushroll, belt, soleplate and bumper strip for the brushroll housing.

tools would be good and a set of instructions if I could find all this for a reasonable price???

Would you be the person to speak to about the parts?

Thanks

Dc17s are pretty common around here and i can probably find cheap donor machine to send you parts off, i also have a 17 that needs some parts,
I will keep a look out for you.

I really hope that one day my incomplete unloved DC17 will look as good as yours Mvacs.....

I think that is the one that was once on eBay and posted here?

As I missed that one, I imported one direct from the US.

My DC17 wasn't actually on ebay, I spotted it in the background of a photo for a job lot of numatics and asked the seller if I could buy it.
The DC17 was brought over by someone who moved to an American airbase but didn't know about plug and voltage differences so the shop owner took it in part Ex for a Dyson he sold them.
The same shop owner also gave me some free boxes DC04, DC15 animal and DC26 city, sebo felix.
