Does it have to sit where it does by the motor? Or could a new one be affixed elsewhere inside the motor housing and wires extended and run back to the motor?

Or are all ones available too big even for that?

I have identified one from Rapidonline which is close but still too thick. Going to order it and see if I can shoehorn it in but mechanical fixing may be the issue. Let the fun begin.
