Their was a guy on Vacland named Lee, His handle is hotpoint 95622 That has done a few , he has them powder coated aswell but I think he said it was rather pricey, I think about £80.00 or so. I know I got quoted around the same in Rands which is a huge amount of money to spend on a paint job considering I can do it myself in my spray booth I built just for this purpose.
Here is the link, the yellow one is awesome.

I am going to post a new thread with some of my collection later tonight.

£80 isnt enough. You'd be looking £100+ really if a nice job like that and it was rewired and fettled properly.
We had issues mating a modern hose to the old hose cuff on those due to the diameter of the pipe. It would need to use something pretty standard like a Henry hose.

I think it was £ 80 just for the shot blast and powder coat. He took in just the parts to be done already stripped.
I prefer to do it myself.
Actually you can get that type of hose from Quаltex, It comes with two rubber cuffed on the end that you just fit onto the cuffs.
I would leave the original hose on the machine , they work well and last forever.

Lovely! I don't think we got the Senior in that colour scheme, the metalwork was an off white over here. That does look nice in the mint green though
I'm not a fan of those floortools on Hoovers. I've had a few, and find the angle too low to keep the head in full contact with the floor.

Bearing replace is quite easy if you ever give it a go But its an old hoover, it'll carry on like it is for years to come. You try turning a dyson on with a slightly poorly bearing... Progress eh?
