Not been able to source a replacement from any of the online stockists. Is there another part I could use which would do the same job? Failing that is there another fix?

Specifically it's for the DC05 Absolute+ Turbo Brush.

Have you looked at a DC24 one?

I haven't tried it but they are quite similar IIRC. And Dyson do like to recycle parts to save on tooling.

I haven't one of those heads in to try it, unfortunately.

It's difficult to be certain but the profile of the flicker where its fits into the sole plate looks different. Not been able to match par numbers. But for £5.99 it may be worth a punt.
