I have one of these I am trying to flog, awful colour but I have given it a full service. No interest. Kirby has the worst depreciation value of any vacuum cleaner.

I have a G5 in my collection, I'm after the 516, 519 etc etc...
Those are rare here! The only Kirby I would have In a collection would be the Dual Sanitronic 80 in that beautiful avacado green.

Rare isn't the word, they never sold them in England so to me they're super rare... Which is why I want them :)

Speaking of Kirby, today I got given (for free by a pally) a Kirby Legend 2!!! Just missing the cleaner head and brushroll sadly :(

Came with the hose tho, works brill but the headlight doesn't work either.

The hose suction is a bit met TBH, it's like DC50/24 suction at the hose, is it supposed to be like that? (feels like 120ish AW)
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

What's the fan look like?
The fan or seal around the fan casing is really the only thing that can cause poor suction due to the dirt fan, plus the hose goes straight to the fan lol.

Dunno I haven't checked yet but O was told it's about right, plus it's not too loud lol so the fan should be alright
I'll still check it and report back

Check the fan up close, those older grey plastic ones are prone to stress cracking.

It won't be any louder with a worn fan, if it was cracked or had lumps taken out of it then it'll vibrate and whistle however.

The fan is fine, just checked it
I was told the suction at the hose is exactly what it should be
