It was hammered to get it out the old casing, it was the only way to get it to shift as it was a VERY tight fit, the guide I found two guides and both said to use a hammer to get it out.
How do you get it to go in further into the casing then? I have applied as much pressure as I can to it, and gently tapped around the outside of the motor from either side with the handle end of a screw driver and hammer - and i do mean gently, without using a press or similar I can't see how to get it in any further. Any advice?
Ah well, new motor time it is then, which one would you recommend?
