DC40 cyclone bin release

I have a DC40. The red clip to release the bin has broken. Currently its being held together with superglue but its very delicate!

I couldn't find the red part so ordered a dc40 cyclone handle assembly but the part I received doesn't have the pin that extends down so I've had to send it back.

Can I just buy the red part? Or if I have to buy the handle assembly what is the correct part number?

Part I ordered was 923584-03, almost right but it doesn't have the bit which hangs down.
