Felix Rosso
« on: September 12, 2016, 09:54:38 pm »
Got this from ao.com for £206 in the sale. It included the standard tools and the Kombi head too, it is taking over the duties of the dc25 rather than getting a DC41/40/55. Love it so much and have to physically stop myself from using it.

Do you prefer the X series or the Felix?? The upright lock drives me mad on my Felix and the lack of wand.

I could have got Sebo to do a price match/beat on that for us.

But enjoy it!

I have the one with the Union flag available ex demo if anyone is interested in a similar one.

For those who dont know, this is a Rosso.

Shame I didn't think of your shop, I only though you had the royale, although I have a feeling I may be getting more Sebos so watch out.

Can you get the Sebo Cartier bag and the large dusting brush?? I need both of these and an extension wand. Cheers

The Sebo rep was sat in our shop yesterday taking a decent sized machine order. It would have been an ideal time to add another one at right money. You were not to know. You are right that that model isn't one I would routinely keep as the Felix models are not hot sellers for us. Everyone wants X4s that comes in our place. But for future reference, I can get any one-off delivered direct to you from Sebo on next day DPD if it isnt one we keep. If I am linked to an offer elsewhere, I can ask that they make us able to price match or beat it. Sebo are quite good with their independent dealers like us.

I'll look into that and email you.  ;)

As Sebo dealers, we should be able to get anything they have.

We'd also welcome a review, some photos and your general opinion of that machine here when you get it if you get chance. I'd like to build the Sebo side of the site up more than it is. As you bought one from AO, any review good or bad you write here can be seen to be demonstrably totally objective. And as such will be useful to potential future Sebo customers.  :icon_nod:

I cannot upload photos from my iPad but I have had it since yesterday afternoon and my review is as follows:

The Sebo Felix Rosso is an all round fabulous performer and is an extremely versatile machine, straight out of the box it took 2 mins to assemble and get started. The machine included a ET-1 power head that has very stiff brushes and excellent agitation and pet hair pick up, a crevice tool, upholstery tool and tool holder. In addition I also received the Kombi suction nozzle with my machine that is useful for gentler cleaning of delicate carpets and hard floors. However the brush roll can be turned of to use on hard floors as well as varied height settings to suit any floor covering.
The upright lock on this machine took a bit of getting use to as you have to wait for the second click, however after the first few uses it is no longer an issue and is a meter of getting used to it.

The machine is very easy and convenient to use, simply plug in the cord, switch on and recline, due to the thorough brushing action and lightweight body it propels itself and takes no effort to push. Very little heat is generated during use and the machine is very quiet. I have used my machine on short cut pile to medium and shag pile carpets and the machine copes excellently. I also used on both even and uneven tile flooring as well as laminate. Also the notorious hard to clean loop pile, both nozzles did excellent on all surfaces but the power head dealt better with pet hair.

The machine can also ''lift off'' and this makes it excellent on stairs and above floor cleaning. The crevice tool is a nice long length and does a good job of removing debris from many otherwise inaccessible areas, and the stair tool really grooms the pile and removes stray dog hairs.

Overall I cannot fault this machines performance and due to the 10m cord and handheld mode I can use it anywhere in my home. I would recommend this to anyone and give it 9.5/10

I've never really liked the look of that one to be honest... The looks of the G1, X... And BS series are my styles lol.

Nice new Felix! Would love to try one out. I want an X4, wouldn't mind a Felix, heard they are great performers, but not so keen on the looks either as Rusty mentioned. I heard the hose leaks suction where it enters the bottom left hand side of the machine, is this true?

No suction leakage, and it is a great performer and it is a very versatile machine with the lift off. I have actually half filled a bag in 6 days of ownership. Still haven't used another machine since purchase, I love this too much!!

I have an ex demo Felix with the Union Flag on the bag in case you fancy it before it goes on the platforms? It has never had its bag emptied, that tells you how much use it's had.

Thanks for the offer :) But I'm afraid I can't afford it, I'm saving for a new phone
but if I were to buy a vacuum off you for the first time, it would probably be the newish DC04 silver lime  :icon_nod:
