DC15
« on: September 18, 2016, 02:26:25 am »
Not been on here for a while. Hi  :)

I am always looking to get Dyson's. I have found a Dyson DC15 which the person said would deliver for £10 plus the item £20.

He says it is all working apart from the hose. Does the DC07 fit on to it. Also is the DC15 worth £30 I have heard they are pretty good, just want everyone's opinion. Thanks

Welcome back :)
Funnily enough I just bought my first DC15 off eBay, an Animal one with all tools but it's dead.

I heard they are really good, reliable vacuums and they actually are worth more than a DC07. They have a nice metal soleplate which is something I love, should be interesting to play with! Never used one before

PS The DC07 hose will not fit. The DC15 has a nicer design hose, where the base flips down at different angles like the Miele S7

Good to be back on here looking around at the forums.

Oh cool, could you not fix it, though. I forgot to bid so lost out on it but the metal soleplate I do not think Dyson has done that in any other of their vacuums. Nice design. Oh that's good then.

I am always looking on Ebay/Gumtree for Dyson's aha.

:)

I intend to fix the one I'm getting, I think it's either the PCB or the cable entry because the motors in these are like tanks and like... what else could fail? The switches are also very reliable, don't think I have ever come across broken switches besides the ones on DC01's.
