Are Dyson owners middle class?
« on: September 24, 2016, 11:53:16 pm »
Just scrolling through FB and saw The Independent had posted an article titled as "16 belongings that reveal if you're middle class" and one of them is "a Dyson vacuum cleaner" ;D That brought a smile on my face. Yes they are expensive & fantastic machines etc, but don't a lot of people buy used/refurbished ones anyway as they're cheaper? Just my opinion, lol

This link is better as it has a quiz too :))

I would say more Sebo or miele, the middle class will go with anything in John Lewis that's expensive.

I would say more Sebo

A Sebo is typically purchased by middle class folks.

Dysons are in half of homes and are owned by everyone.

LOL @ the quiz. My quiz score said:

Quote
5-12 'Very middle class' - Secure in the upper-middle classes, your suburban home is full of Mulberrys, Nutribullets and the barbecue where you host your similarly well-to-do friends on a Sunday afternoon

Clearly my Dysons, woodburner and barbecue together with wifeys slate coasters, kitchen gadgets and designer bags makes folks at the Indy swoon like the little bloke here.

LOL So if someone was to buy a £15 barbecue and a carboot Dyson for £5  does that make them middle class? :)) Haha

Also, I think Nutribullets are about the same thing as a magic bullet so if one owns one over the other... 😂

going by some of the areas and people I've visited/had visit for dyson related stuff,  most certainly not!

infact I sell on Facebook exclusively to cater to the 'oooh Daryl look,  it's a dyson innit,  only £55,  that's half a weeks dole money,  and it comes with an air freshener! "

Really? I'd say working class. Well actually they are really expensive for what they are so I guess if they're bought brand new then maybe.
