Yup. Sounds stupid,but my thought when saw the board fried was that it hadn't been the motor after all - just the board. Then I thought I might just hold the new motor until needed. Yeah, then I thought, probably should stop thinking.
Nope, haven't got a multi-meter now, though have used in past for checking outlet voltage, batteries, but not much else. Can easily get my hands on one. I'm aware of the safety aspects, even if I did just blow a new circuit board on a duff motor😀. Where exactly am I concentrating my search?
