Vintage Hoover Junior 375 spares
« on: November 21, 2018, 09:51:36 pm »
Hello,
I have two Pre war Hoover 375's both needing belts,
and ideally beater brushes.
I could get belts off Ebay up to a few years ago,but now cannot find anyone doing them.
Does anyone know of a supplier for belts ?
or does anyone have any belts or brushes I could purchase ?
Many Thanks...

Anyone know the part number for the brushes? We might have some......

Beko will know which belts they use. They'll be available.

Thanks for that,
I don't know the brush number but they are the type held in place by a single screw, when you say Beko will know about the belts, I don't quite follow...Sorry..
Regards Clive.

I'm here! Sorry, very busy at work, I've fallen asleep putting the kids to bed the last few weeks!

Mr Clive, I have replied to your email a few days ago but not sure if you have seen it, the 375 belts are actually quite rare, however I posted the question in a facebook group I am a member of, where us sad vacuum cleaner collectors hang out and many members have sets they would be willing to sell, but I'd need permission to pass your contact details on for that

Or... https://blackwellanddenton.com/product/vacuum-cleaner-drive-belts-twin-pack-hoover-375/?fbclid=IwAR2g0DiZcV-4jVaawLfQcEcLQ5PXWdENwhfpigASblXBsA4N8_Whtoc0P1w and I strongly recommend picking up a set of brand new brushroll bearings from Manchestervacs (PM Mvacs as I doubt he has them on the shop, their not *whisper* sebo parts... And I can almost guarantee you will need them if you've not replaced them already within the last two decades! I can point you towards a guide to doing it if you need!
