De Stijl meets the family!!!
« on: January 15, 2017, 12:36:34 am »
Yes!!!
We got ourselves a DC04 De Stijl on our hands!
Just needs a head and chassis since they are the grey instead of purple or red, was thinking on dropping the bin, filter cover, and inspection valves onto my absolute so it becomes a de stijl, I have transformed the wand purple and yellow and the head too, I know they are supposed to have red wand and head but it would still be easily called a De Stijl, What you guys think? however before that i need to wait 3 months for the warranty to expire so ive got my Absolute for a few months yet before I start the proses, As for nans mixup, thats being stripped for parts and the rest thrown out, possibly selling a rear hose and changeover valve on ebay, although dont expect it to sell, probaly just keep em as spare, seen many bad ones. Kept:
Motor,
Motor retaining ring
all seals including fully intact soleplate seals,
couple soleplate wheels,
internal hose, (Brand new genuine bought a while ago)
rear wheel
changeover
all filters since they are almost new
fan belt,
brushroll
clutch plate,
head and brush house
