I have a G6, got it for £45

One empty bag inside the vac, I fitted a brand new diamond tread belt and it's permanently on tech drive as the pedal broke off :|.
the headlight cover is also smashed but it's no biggie as the light still works.

***###ANYWAY###***
I don't know, either too many people emphasise and exaggerate way too much about how crap they think Dysons are, OR they emphasise and exaggerate how good Kirbys are way too much because it's one of these or both.

My DC41 Mk2 is a fantastic vacuum, picks up loads of dirt every time it's used. The Kirby is brilliant though, lifts carpets up very well, grooms and beats well. The brush isn't worn, I fitted a diamond tread belt to it to make sure it has optimum performance. I vacuumed out the outer bag and made sure the fan is good.

I don't know, maybe I was expecting a miracle with my Kirby G6? :( It's not as powerful as I was hoping it to be, I was expecting self propelling motions from the brushbar and a hell of a lot of dirt in the bag :/ I still like it though but maybe I was expecting too much

I don't regret my purchase, it's a great vacuum but kinda disappointed. :(

Thats how I felt with the kirby g3 at work after using a dc17. I do like the smooth rumble of the old kirbies.

Hmm

I would love to own a DC17. PS I also have a Kirby Legend 2 and I'd say the G6 is probably better by 5% at performance. Like I said, either Dyson is underrated or Kirby is overrated. Could be both  :(

Its like a dc14 with a dc40 brush and motor. If I machine works then I generally like it, example being a battered singer upright I use in the office at work, picks up really well. But the tool hose suction is  :dead-dyson:

All of my Kirby's will pull themselves along by the brush if I let go of the handle...

Sebos are like that, especially the black X4 when you hit the extra button.
