Good find! I bet she just found it hard to push because the active base late really does seal to the floor
also just wash the filters with Tresemme and hot water, it'll smell like shampoo when you vacuum

Could I maybe wash them with Zoflora?

I also want to buy Articulating-Hard-Floor-Flat-Brush-Swivel-Tool-Head

Do you guys think that I could attach it to the end of the wand?

Actually guys, do you think that the brush roll sounds normal?

I turned on the cleaner and the brush roll wasn't turning. Switching the button didn't help. So I disconnected the cleaner head and connected it again and then it started working again.
I just hope that it doesn't mean that the cleaner head is going  :underchair:

Tresemme doesn't smell like Theresa May don't worry so you can use it instead of Zoflora.

Your cleanerhead is fine, just make sure it's fitted correctly.

You mean shampoo right?
Isn't it going to influence the filters' efficiency?
I really think it's the cyclone. The lady must've vacuumed some liquid or something.

Sadly it didn't help. The filter smelled nicely but when I finished vacuuming the house it started again. It stinks and the filter smells too.
I've tried vacuuming Zorb, it didn't help too..
There's literally no way I could disassembly the cyclone on my own, but there are guys around me who do that from 35£ apparently.
Do you guys this that it's worth it? Or is it going to stink again in time?
Or would it better just to get a new cyclone for 49.99?  :underchair:

I've been using it only for 6 days but I can say that it's literally the nicest vacuum cleaner I've ever had.
So light, easy to use the hose.
To my surprise Small Ball seems more stable than Ball Animal 2 while using the hose. Or maybe it's just my impression.
I think that the hose is easier to use than on Sebo Felix. I know, Dyson ain't gonna last as long as Sebo would but I still find it easier and nicer to use  :underchair:

I got the hard floor tool, non genuine one and sadly it pops out of the wand, I can still use it but it just sometimes falls off.
And the best thing is that I was able to register it for warranty as the lady didn't register it so we got a warranty untill 2022.  :whist11:

Wash the cyclone thoroughly till the water comes out clear and let it dry for a day or two. Its not hard to strip it either incase you wanna do that, this the better method.

I'm glad you found your perfect vacuum, I know you seemed quite picky about all sorts of machines you owned haha but yes the small ball is a petty nice machine. IMO these are underrated in their performance because they actually clean quite well compared to a normal DC50

PS sprinkle some shake n vac into the pre filter, just a little bit. Should help with the smell

So without striping it down - I've actually tried it but it just seemed like I was bending the plastic - I just need to run the water though the vent in the cyclone?

Oh dear, here I am again with my disappointment. Sorry guys but I can't moan to my partner so need to express my feelings here  :coffee:
Even though I wipe the bin after each emptying, the pre motor filter gets dirty very quickly. I've washed it once and it noticeably dirty again.
Besides I discovered that the seal around post motor filter doesn't really do much. I would think that the air should only come out through the gap in the plastic cover. But it actually blows all around the filter, around the edge where the vacuum meets the filter.
I had Ball Animal 2 for six months and it didn't get as dirty behind the cyclone mesh as the Small Ball did since I bought it which was less than a month ago.
And what is worse I think that the cleaner head might be going. Sometimes it takes some time for the brush roll to turn on or off and the Max switch also sometimes doesn't want to switch  :underchair: so I need to move it from one side to another.

We got a new cleaner head from Dyson :chuckle:
It's strangely louder than old one.

I cannot cope with the smell anymore so decided to dismantle the cyclone.

Dirty as expected but I don't have a screw driver that would fit there so that's the best I can do, which is basically nothing..
But I washed this bit with Zoflora.

I must say that it's really off-putting that it all stays in cyclone and you cannot clean it easily  :underchair:
