Re MVac Admin Post - Did the MVac "Tech Dept" come up with any ideas?

Need to see a photo of it really.

Probably time to bite the bullet and get a new machine.

So next m/c unlikely to be a Dyson on principle!

The Shark seems to get good reviews - and a 5 year guarantee from John Lewis for 179.99.
Maybe that is where we will end up.

Noooo. Look at Sebo.

As far as a new machine, I'd recommend Sebo as they're within your price range and 100 times better quality than Dyson and most other brands.

Indeed. John Lewis do Sebo, but we are cheaper and also approved Sebo dealers.

But as also said above, a new cleaner head should also solve the problem with your DC25.

I recommend getting a new Dyson ball (the ones with a blue brushroll) as they clean VERY well

One question though, does the ball spin freely?
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.
