Sebo Tool For Vinyl Flooring
« on: February 19, 2020, 03:48:12 pm »
I've got a Sebo K3 and I don't find the Sebo parquet tool very good on vinyl - it misses a lot. I took the large outboard wheels off and it's better, but still not good.
I briefly owned a Miele CX1 and it came with a basic but very effective tool called SRD, I believe.
Is there any adaptor available that would fit the Miele brush to the Sebo tubes?
Or is there a better Sebo brush I am missing?

The wall brush is cheaper and will do the same job.

Thanks Halcyon and MVacs; you've given me some good options to look at that I wasn't aware of.

While on the subject of Sebos, why are there so many variants on the cylinder format?
I understand the K1 and K3, but why are there also D and E versions? Do they perform/pick up better or is it just about exhaust air quality?

Continental Europe prefers cylinder machines. In fact, an upright vacuum cleaner is quite unusual thing to see in mainland Europe as they have fewer carpets than we Brits.

I agree with you there are confusing array of Sebo cylinder machines. It is made further complex by various so-called special editions made for particular retailers. Each range variant is fundamentally the same, the only difference being colour, upgraded filters and additional accessories.

For this reason with cylinder machines, we stock two from the K range and two from the E range and that is all. We don’t stock the D at all because there is almost no demand for it in this country.
