MalcyD has a DC07. The internal hoses don't differ for clutched and non-clutched machines.
I know thats why i said make sure its not the 04 clutched one. because the 07's use the non clutched 04 type

Okay, the hot water trick seems to have worked as I've now managed to 'screw on' the brush housing end. It's only just on so, it remains to be seen how long it stays on.

They just twist off.
I know the dc04 non clutched/dc07 all model cuffs just screw off, but all my clutched 04 ones are welded to the hose itself

Yeah my dc04 clutched ones are stuck on, can't twist them off
