Holiday Vacuum Cleaners
« on: April 03, 2017, 06:15:12 pm »
Hello all! I'm currently on holiday and the cottage has a Sebo K3 premium with the old style power head. Although this thread is about Vacuums you've had in holiday cottages, houses etc. I've mostly had Henrys in the them but what have you had? I wasn't sure where to put this so hopefully it's ok here.
I've had
1998 Numatic Henry
2001 Numatic NRV200
1995 Numatic NNV200
2006 Numatic Henry
Taski Vento 8 (No idea of the time frame)
1996 Henry HVR200
2010 Numatic Henry HVR200a
And just now 2010 Sebo K3 premium
All the years, unless I specifically remembered, are estimates. Judging by the style of numatics.
Tell me what you've had or seen!

Oops! I forgot about the Eureka I had last year in Florida. It was basically a Vittesse though.

We once stayed at a crappy hotel in Blackpool about 9 years ago and they had a 2004 style Henry :)

That's it I think :/ I owned many vacuums from different parts of the country though, like a DC41 Animal from London, DC25 from Coventry, DC39 from Wolverhampton, DC01 from Manchester, etc  :offtopic:

Had a hoover junior 119 in a house in Scarborough back in the early 80s, normally it was just a carpet sweeper in a static caravan. We are accompanied by a white dyson dc30 in our caravan now

We usually go on self catering caravan holidays so no vacuums at all. Although at Camber Sands a few years ago there was a horrible tesco value bagged cylinder! I found a white Panasonic in a skip during the week and nabbed it, and even it's soft brushroll picked up a ton of sand!

I usually end up finding and buying vacuums whilst on holiday if I can!

That's a nice vacuum to have. It's always bagged vacuums I've found.
Yes I remember that Sam, doesn't your Mum use it upstairs? We are usually, now being no exception, in the middle of nowhere in the Highlands so I could only get a vacuum on the journey back. Nothing worth it on any sites though.

We had one of those little white pull-along goblin vacuums in a Static Caravan at Butlins, Skegness,
Also had a Bistle sturdy sweep - carpet sweeper in a caravan in Skegness before - not butlins though.
In shropshire in a little cotage we had a Dyson V6 Animal - cordless, We stayed with my uncle, his Labrador - Jasper hated it, he hates vacuu,s - wether its a Dyson V6 Cordless, DC50
Animal, or a cordless Hoover vacuum - he hates it!

Hmm, apparently this thread is "New" but was posted in 120 days ago lol...

Anyway, the one I'm in now has some kind of Dyson. Not an upright either.

We had an Electrolux Vitebsk in a log cabin years ago. Then we stayed in the same house for a few years and they had a dc04 SL. Then in 2015 there was a a shit hoover spritz thing.

This year however was quite interesting, in may there was a hetty. And in July I had a hoover hurricane thing that wasn’t too bad but in the garage there was a yellow 90s henry, a dc14 and a hoover aquamaster with the wide tools.
