Its still usable but i would look at changing it if it was me.

My mate's DC41 was like that, I asked if he sucked up a marble or something, :/ I tried sucking up a marble with our old DC25 and it almost did that!!!

My mate's DC41 was like that, I asked if he sucked up a marble or something, :/ I tried sucking up a marble with our old DC25 and it almost did that!!!
This is amazing....  I found a marble stuck in one of the attachments  :o :o :o

Thats probaly the culprit - tried hoovering the marbel - didn't go up so used the tools on it???
