2005 clutch slipping - new belts etc.
« on: April 08, 2017, 12:18:49 am »
Got a 2005 clutch -
Brushroll spins slowly when machine is upright - like really slowly - as soon as a finger goes near is stops but the clutch starts slipping - no ratchet and the belts are tight - clutch is slipping not the belts - did flip the clutch pad as the one side is entirely smooth - when flipped over immediatly worn through the other side - both sides now completely bare and its been flipped onto the what was brand new - now nearly bare side about 1 month ago... white wheel slightly worn but not much - one small black line on it. Ive tried new pully in it and new

If you are confident enough then i would recommend opening the clutch and flipping over the clutch plate its the cog type material that should sort your issue.

Is it rebuilt properly? Sounds like the cogs aren't sitting right and the metal plate is in contact with the pad at all times
