Hairspray ruined my dc26 bin. I always stick to the same method for mine:1 wash in fairy liquid and boiling water.2 clean he bin with astonish paste (from the pound shop) on a j cloth.3 shine with back to black tyre shine on a microfibres4 cover in baby oil and leave to dry. This lasts for around 3-5 uses and makes it really shiny.

The hairspray method works for a good few months or until the bin gets washed. Maybe I should do a tutorial?
See? My method/discovery works
