First DC33
« on: June 08, 2017, 10:57:33 pm »
Just bought my first DC33 for £12 tonight
Its going to be one to refurb then sell on, sounds like a new motor from the description, but how acurate are these descriptions? I mean I bought a DC14 with no suction according to the listing - it had full suction
and suggestions on the DC33? what things should I look for and their weak points

Check everything visual, check the wand's red end doesn't come off, check the top of the chassis isn't cracked, the hose isn't split anywhere, etc...

Nearly every 33 I have had has needed a new cyclone gasket seal. Then it's just the usual checks. Often, one or both tools are missing as is the wand cap. The end of the wand gets work as it's plastic.

They are easy refurbs though and I get more for them being a 'newer' model.

So much easier than a DC27!
