Need a Good & Reliable Step Down Transformer
« on: June 11, 2017, 12:34:58 am »
I bought a DC17 Animal off _Russ_ off the forum ;D (Many thanks to him!)

So I need a step down transformer, anyone got any recommendations? I trust the industrial yellow ones but those are expensive?

I need one capable of being used for vacuuming with an American vacuum every day, or maybe even a few times a day... hence why I need a good one

Cheers ;D

That is the type you want. Anything else will just blow up.

?45 at Tool Net here.

Then you want a US socket and a bit of wire and a 110v plug.

And where is the photo of the DC17 and how much was it?

Thank you SO much ;D  Really appreciate it greatly :icon_nod:

and I bought the DC17 Animal for £40 including postage (£30 for the Dyson)

He made a thread in 2015 here: https://manchestervacs.co.uk/DysonForum/index.php/topic,1805.0.html

You won't. Buy a 110v transformer plug and a US socket and make one with a bit of old 3 core.
