Is the Dyson 26 any good as I think it looks cool how small and compact it is and if so are there any tools that work with it which are easily available to buy.
Thanks

They are very, very tiny. I've never been a big fan. Basically a reworked DC12.

They are very good for the size, however, the filter catch can be an absolute bitch meaning cleaning the filter gets neglected, you only get about 2 inches in the bin before you are over the full mark so they can get clogged. They weren't that popular so spares are a bit on the pricey side. The wand is a bit annoying at times, a dc11 or 08T 19T wand would have worked better.

Looks amazing, but then you'll need to use it, and the shine wears off quickly

They are an ok machine for the size (as far as cylinders go).
The DC26 accepts the later tool type fitments - so the same as DC19t2, DC24, DC25, DC33, DC40, DC41, DC50, DC75 etc.

They are lovely and miniature, the wand is quite chunky as it's the same as a DC19 T2 one tho :/
Also never strip the motor housing apart unless you plan on stripping it for spares, or if it has a busted motor or something as they are an absolute nightmare to get together. I can't believe I can't do one and I'm a person who is confident in refurbing modern Dyson uprights (and DC27s) into component form!
Lovely machine when working, the suction is better than a DC24 too!
